Mission

What is StickerMap?

StickerMap is an open reporting platform for hateful, anti-constitutional and far-right symbols in public space. Anyone can report locations, attach photo evidence and track the status – from "present" to "covered up" to "removed". Worldwide, free, anonymous.
The project is an independent citizens' initiative: creating visibility, enabling action, making documentation easy, fighting powerlessness, achieving something together.

Background

Why this matters

Hateful, anti-constitutional and far-right stickers and symbols are not trivial. They serve to intimidate, to mark territory and to make hateful and anti-constitutional networks visible. Ignoring them normalises and accepts them.
StickerMap makes the scale visible – and lowers the barrier to taking action against it.
"Hateful and anti-constitutional symbols in our streets are not a fringe phenomenon. They are signals – and we respond to them."

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is my report really anonymous?
Yes. StickerMap requires no account and does not permanently store IP addresses. There are no tracking cookies and no user profiles. Reports contain only location, category, an optional description and a photo – no personal data.
Does StickerMap work outside my city?
Yes. StickerMap is open worldwide – you can report symbols in any city or region. The map shows reports from all over the world and keeps growing.
What happens to my photo?
Uploaded photos are stored on the server solely for documentation. They are not shared and serve only as evidence for the report. Photos must not show or identify any people.
How is abuse prevented?
Reports can be moderated by the admin team. Obviously false, abusive or inappropriate entries are removed. In addition, every report requires photo evidence and GPS validation.
How can I do more than just report?
The most effective contribution: cover up or remove stickers and then update the status in StickerMap. This keeps the map current and shows others that the symbol has been removed. Feel free to share the site with everyone who is fed up with far-right propaganda. And if you would like to support us beyond that, we appreciate every donation – it helps us keep the service running in the future.
