PrivacyIs my report really anonymous?

Yes. StickerMap requires no account and does not permanently store IP addresses. There are no tracking cookies and no user profiles.

ReportsWhat can I report to StickerMap?

You can document hostile, anti-constitutional and far-right stickers, graffiti and symbols with their location and a photo.

LocationWhy does StickerMap need my location?

Location is a central part of every report. Only a reasonably plausible location allows a report to be placed correctly on the map, found on site and later updated as still present, covered or removed.

Protection against spam and false reports

Location access is a security measure. It makes it harder to submit large numbers of fabricated reports automatically or deliberately select distant places where the reported item does not exist. Spam and false reports would make the map unreliable, create unnecessary moderation work and send people, initiatives or responsible authorities to the wrong place.

Protection against accidentally incorrect locations

Even without malicious intent, a pin can accidentally be placed in the wrong street, city or region. Your device location provides a starting point that helps the application assess the selected location more plausibly. You can still correct the exact pin on the map before submitting. Location access does not replace content review and cannot automatically guarantee that a report is correct; unusual entries may still be moderated.

What is stored?

Location access is not used for advertising, audience analytics or movement profiles. StickerMap does not create a location history and does not track you in the background. If you only view the map or close the dialog, no report or report location is stored.

Only when you explicitly submit the report form is the location selected on the map stored together with the category, status, description and optional photo. Your continuously updated device location is not additionally stored as a separate profile or movement history.

PhotosWhat happens to my photo?

Photos are stored solely to document the report. Please make sure that no people can be identified.

ReportsHow do I update a report status?

Open the report on the map and create an update. You can then indicate whether it is still present, covered or removed.

ProjectHow can I support StickerMap?

Submit findings, update existing reports, share the project or support its operation with a donation.
